We’re looking for a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our supply team and provide high-quality support to a school-based nursery setting. This is a great opportunity to be part of a structured, welcoming, and child-focused learning environment.
About the Role:
* Job Type: Flexible, supply/temporary
* Location: Walker, Newcastle
* Setting: School Nursery
* Hours: Term-time shifts available (full-time or part-time days)
* Start Date: Immediate and ongoing
Responsibilities:
* Supporting children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS
* Working closely with teachers and nursery staff within the school
* Creating a calm, engaging, and safe environment for all children
* Following school safeguarding procedures and routines
* Encouraging positive behaviour and development through play and interaction
Requirements:
* Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent)
* Experience in a nursery or early years school setting
* Good understanding of EYFS and safeguarding policies
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
* Professional, friendly, and adaptable approach
* Paediatric First Aid required but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
