We are looking for a dynamic and results driven Brand Manager to lead our Mazda site in Pennywell Rd, Bristol. This pivotal role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the new car sales department, taking full responsibility for sales performance, reputational scores, team coaching and providing effective leadership. Responsibilities
* As the Brand Manager, assume overall accountability for the sales results and people performance in the New Car Sales Department.
* With support from the Brand Director and corporate functions, lead the team to achieve sales targets and high performance.
* Lead, coach, and motivate a team of automotive sales consultants, ensuring the department is adequately staffed.
* Foster a high-performance culture that recognises and rewards exceptional achievements while addressing underperformance.
* Develop financial and growth objectives, devising strategies to meet profit and sales targets.
* Prepare accurate sales reporting and forecasting in adherence to group reporting frameworks.
* Engage with the manufacturer, fostering a positive and successful working relationship with them.
* Participate in and assist in marketing strategies aligned with manufacturer guidelines to support business objectives.
* Drive outstanding levels of customer satisfaction in Sales.
* Ensure all sales activities comply with Wessex Garages, manufacturer, and regulatory requirements.
* Possess knowledge of manufacturer metrics, such as dealer balanced scorecard, to drive operational excellence.
Required Experience
In order to succeed at this role, the candidate must have automotive experience within a sales department. Experience at Sales Manager level is an advantage, but we are also looking for dynamic, proven sales consultants or business managers who are seeking the next step in their career.
