Reporting to the Head of HR (UK), the senior Early Careers Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the recruitment, management, and development of Early Career talent within the organisation. This position entails coordinating services catering to Trainee Solicitors, vacation scheme participants, and, commencing September 2025, a cohort of Solicitor Apprentices.
Responsibilities
* Marketing and Candidate Attraction: Spearhead branding, marketing, and promotional activities
* Recruitment & Assessment: Manage selection processes, assessment centers, and interview coordination
* Development of Trainee Solicitors & Solicitor Apprentices
* Future Trainee Solicitors: Oversee engagement and support for future Trainee Solicitors, maintaining relationships with relevant educational institutions
* Trainee Solicitor Resourcing & Qualification: Manage rotation processes, resource planning, and qualification procedures
* Team Management & Budgeting: Supervise the Early Careers team, including budgeting, cost monitoring, and performance reviews
Skills
* Managerial experience in Graduate Recruitment and Development/Early Careers within a legal environment
* Proficiency in process, project, and change management
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Collaborative approach with attention to detail
* Proficient in HR technology/systems
