We have a post available within an integrated health and social care, alcohol and drug recovery service (ADRS), and Community Recovery Team. You will work within the Community Recovery Team providing a range of treatment and life options to individuals affected by alcohol and drug use to support their recovery. This role requires close collaboration with ADRS General Practitioners and local employability services. You will also provide support to families affected by alcohol and drug use.
Essential experience includes working within alcohol and drug services, undertaking assessments, care planning, and having a working knowledge of recovery from drugs and alcohol. Good written and verbal communication skills, along with competence in IT packages, are also required.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. It is an offence to apply if you are barred from working with children and protected adults. Additionally, if you have lived or worked outside the UK in the past 10 years, an overseas police check may be required.
