4PL Account Manager – Midlands (Hybrid) | Up to £60,000 + Car Allowance + Private Healthcare
I am working with a leading logistics organisation seeking an experienced 4PL Account Manager to manage key customer relationships across major manufacturing clients. This is a strategic role focused entirely on key account management, service delivery, and operational performance — no direct sales.
The Role
You will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of large manufacturing customers, ensuring exceptional service delivery and operational execution. Your role is to drive performance, identify improvements, and maintain strong partnerships across all stakeholder groups.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day relationships with major manufacturing accounts
* Lead service performance reviews and coordinate cross-functional teams
* Analyse operational data to identify efficiencies, cost savings, and areas for continuous improvement.
* Produce clear reporting, forecasts, and insights
* Manage escalations and proactively resolve issues
* Support account development through improved service performance and enhanced value delivery (no new business sales).
About You
* Strong background in 4PL, 3PL, transport, or supply chain operations.
* Proven experience managing large or complex accounts, ideally within manufacturing.
* Confident communicator capable of managing senior stakeholder relationships.
