Senior healthcare Support worker Team Leader Complex Care We are look for someone experienced to join our small team and help run a package of care for a 42 year old male with a severe learning disability and complex health needs, living in his own home in Rothwell Supporting the client to maintain their health and social needs within the home and community. Key Responsibilities Maintaining and updating records - care plans, MAR sheets etc. Training carers, supervisions, updating carers information Organising rotas, holidays, sickness cover Ordering and maintain good stock levels Maintain good communication between the care team and parents Have a good clinical knowledge and competency of Tracheostomy and PEG management, Epilepsy and learning disability. Support the client with all aspects of their care needs including: personal care – includes washing, dressing, showering, toileting medication administration moving and handling, positioning Tracheostomy and PEG management. Social stimulation support Work closely and maintain good communication between the care team to ensure the client has all their needs met. Essential Experience Have a good clinical knowledge and experience of: Learning disabilities Tracheostomy PEG management, Epilepsy Medication administration Able to drive You must Like dogs Able to cover holidays and sickness Initially will be required to work day time shifts alongside HCA to get to know the client. Desirable Experience Ideally will be flexible, have good organisational skills, be an excellent communicator and happy to work alone and as part of a team.
