⏱ Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off - rotating 4 days and then 4 nights
💷 Salary: £47,000 - £49,000 per annum

The Role
We are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Telford. The role provides engineering and maintenance support to the manufacturing function, ensuring plant and equipment reliability across a high-speed production environment.
You will be responsible for delivering effective planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance, working closely with production teams to maximise uptime and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure safe working practices are followed at all times in line with Health & Safety policies and procedures
Provide engineering breakdown support to shift production teams, minimising operational downtime
Use root cause analysis tools to deliver effective one-time fixes for recurring faults
Ensure all assets are compliant, safe, and fit for purpose
Support the maintenance team in identifying cost-saving opportunities across energy, maintenance, and materials
Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance documentation for all site activities
Assist in developing and improving preventative maintenance programmes to enhance asset reliability
Communicate clearly and effectively with internal stakeholders, equipment manufacturers, service providers, and engineering colleagues
About You
You will ideally have:
Experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a high-speed manufacturing or production environment
A formal engineering qualification (Level 3 or above) in either an electrical or mechanical discipline, or equivalent
Current or previous MEWP and/or FLT licence
A proactive approach with strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
