Overview
This super family are looking for a part-time, daily nanny/housekeeper – someone who is dependable, proactive, kind, fun, organised and has a good eye for detail. The cheery children are aged 7 years-old and 22 months-old. The family live in a large house with a spacious garden and wonderful forest near by to explore with the children when possible.
Responsibilities
* Nanny duties: supporting the little one’s afternoon routine including playing with her, creative activities and games; taking her out locally for a couple of hours after her nap (around 3.30 pm); some help with meal preparation would also be appreciated.
* Housekeeping duties: tidying away, checking stocks, laundry (some ironing when time), emptying and restacking the dishwasher, washing up, taking bins out, defrosting freezers, sometimes cooking for the children, unpacking groceries and deliveries, daily light cleaning of the kitchen (heavy cleaning done by cleaners); other ad hoc housekeeping tasks.
Qualifications & Preferences
As the family are a bilingual household speaking English and Mandarin Chinese, a Mandarin-speaking candidate would be welcomed but is by no means essential.

* Location: Chertsey, Surrey
* Minimum experience: Housekeeping experience and nanny experience with toddlers and school-aged children
* Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm – 7:30 pm (22.5 hours per week) – with some flexibility for the right person
* Driving: confident driver with own car and business insurance
* Job Start Date: flexible start for the right candidate
* Pay: £18-20 gross per hour, flexible for the right person
* Status: permanent, daily, part-time position
