We are inviting applications from recent LPC graduates for a full-time Paralegal position in our busy and respected Private Client team. The Role
As part of our Private Client department, you'll assist in delivering practical, compassionate legal advice to clients on a wide range of matters, including:
* Wills and estate planning
* Probate and estate administration
* Trusts and inheritance matters
* Lasting Powers of Attorney and elderly client care
You'll gain real exposure to the legal process-attending meetings, handling documents, speaking with clients, and supporting solicitors through each stage of a matter.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and drafting legal documents such as Wills, LPAs, and probate forms
* Assisting with the progression of client files from initial instruction to final resolution
* Communicating with clients, third parties, and professionals in a clear, empathetic manner
* Supporting the submission of probate applications and liaising with the Probate Registry
* Conducting legal research and staying up to date on developments in Private Client practice
* Assisting with client onboarding, file compliance, and internal procedures
* Providing general administrative and organisational support across the team
About You
We're looking for someone who is not only legally capable but also genuinely interested in the human side of the law. You'll be working closely with individuals and families, often during sensitive or emotional times, so professionalism and empathy are essential. You should also have:
* A completed LPC (or SQE1) qualification
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A well-organised and proactive approach to your work
* A sincere interest in developing a long-term career in Private Client law
* A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport (due to occasional client visits)
