Head of Water Sports - Isle of Wight Manor Adventure
As Head of Water Sports, you will oversee the day-to-day delivery of water sports activities, ensuring sessions are safe, well organised and engaging for all participants. You will lead by example, support and mentor instructors, and maintain high standards across all aspects of water sports provision.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise the water sports team
* Deliver safe, high-quality and enjoyable water sports sessions
* Oversee equipment management, safety procedures and risk assessments
* Support staff training, mentoring and professional development
* Maintain high standards of instruction and customer experience
* Work collaboratively with the wider centre leadership team
Qualifications & Experience
Applicants must hold one of the following qualifications:
* Sea Kayak Leader
* OR
* RYA Senior Dinghy Instructor & Paddlesport Leader
* OR
* RYA Level 2 or Core Coach
You should also have:
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* A proactive and responsible approach to safety and supervision
* A genuine enthusiasm for water sports and developing others
* The ability to work effectively as part of a leadership team
