Job Description
The Customer Outcomes Senior Platform Architect is an advisory role responsible for helping our customers establish a technical foundation in the ServiceNow Platform and design solutions that deliver outcomes. The Senior Platform Architect ensures customers use best practices around instance strategy, technical governance, core data, integrations, and platform health. This is a consultative role focused on guiding ServiceNow, partner, and customer teams to develop architectures for long-term success.
* Collaborate with customers across executive, platform owner, enterprise architect, and development teams during solution selling, structuring, and implementation.
* Serve as an architectural advisor across multiple engagements to guide customers, partners, and internal teams in delivering successful solutions.
* Apply architectural knowledge across various workflows.
* Build relationships with CoEI and business leaders to understand ServiceNow's role in their digital transformation strategies.
* Translate organizational goals into a customer roadmap.
* Convert business and technical requirements into architectural blueprints to meet complex objectives.
* Engage with enterprise architects to position ServiceNow as the standard platform for digital transformation, integrated with core applications.
* Manage technical governance, delivery operating models, and compliance.
* Ensure platform health by working with teams to reduce technical debt and adhere to best practices.
* Support sales efforts by scoping and estimating engagements and change orders.
* Contribute to the development of best practices and expertise related to the ServiceNow platform.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* Experience in integrating AI into workflows, decision-making, or problem-solving, including using AI tools, automating processes, analyzing AI insights, or exploring AI's industry impact.
* 8+ years of progressive experience in a professional services organization or equivalent education/experience.
* Management consulting experience.
* Creativity and comfort managing programs independently in a fast-paced environment.
* Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex issues.
* Industry domain expertise.
* Experience leading large architecture and design programs.
* Knowledge of cloud application technologies.
* ServiceNow certifications in relevant workflows.
* Willingness to travel.
* Legal right to work in the UK.
