Hours: 37.5 Salary: £28,090 to £28,090 Annum Job Description: As a Talent, Recruitment, and Onboarding Advisor, you will play a vital role in managing the recruitment process from start to finish, ensuring it is positive, inclusive, and fair. You will be responsible for providing an exceptional candidate experience, liaising with hiring managers, and supporting new employees through their onboarding journey. Your efforts will help build a strong and diverse workforce while ensuring we maintain a fair and transparent approach to recruitment and hiring. You will be responsible for overseeing the Talent Aquisition and Onbarding Coordinator in your area. Key Responsibilities Recruitment, Sourcing & Screening Lead the full recruitment cycle for a range of social care roles, ensuring all processes are inclusive, accessible, and aligned with organisational values. Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, create accurate job descriptions, and design tailored recruitment strategies for each department. Advertise roles across job boards, websites, and social media to attract a diverse and qualified talent pool. Conduct thorough candidate screenings in Talos, assessing skills, experience, and cultural fit while ensuring fairness, consistency, and good candidate care. Provide clear, timely communication to maintain a positive candidate journey from application to offer. Interview Coordination & Selection Coordinate interviews through Talos, ensuring smooth scheduling for both candidates and interviewers. Participate in interviews with hiring managers, offering insight and balanced recommendations. Collect structured feedback to support informed hiring decisions and improve interview quality. Onboarding & Pre-Employment Checks Deliver a welcoming and well-organised onboarding experience that prepares new colleagues for success. Manage all pre-employment checks, including references, DBS, and right-to-work documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Coordinate inductions, mandatory training, and all onboarding activities, checking in regularly with new hires to ensure they are supported. Gather feedback from new starters to enhance the onboarding process. Ensure colleague files in Talos are accurately transferred into the HR system (CP) in a timely manner. Training Coordination Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to ensure employees are booked onto required training sessions. Support initial training programmes and assist new colleagues in integrating into the organisation. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Champion inclusive recruitment practices, ensuring job adverts, processes, and communications are bias-free and accessible. Support initiatives to attract diverse candidates and help the organisation meet representation goals. Administration & Data Management Maintain accurate, up-to-date records for all recruitment and onboarding activity in line with GDPR and internal policies. Ensure ATS and HR data is correctly stored, processed, and managed. Produce activity reports (e.g., time-to-hire and pipeline data) and identify opportunities to improve efficiency. Continuous Improvement Regularly review recruitment and onboarding processes, using candidate and hiring manager feedback to drive improvements. Stay informed about recruitment trends, HR best practice, and compliance developments. Recommend and support initiatives that strengthen candidate attraction, recruitment effectiveness, and employee retention. Stakeholder Engagement Build trusted relationships with hiring managers and leaders to align recruitment activity with organisational needs. Act as the first point of contact for candidates and new employees, providing responsive and professional support. Work collaboratively with the wider HR team to ensure seamless handover from recruitment to ongoing HR processes. Who are we? This position will be based in Gloucestershire, but the successful candidate will be required to access all of our services in the West for training.
