HR Officer and Mental Health First Aider

The company has an opportunity for an experienced Flexographic Printer at our site in Mansfield.
Location: Mansfield
Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: Mornings 6:00 – 14:00, Afternoons 14:00 – 22:00 (with a 19:15 finish on a Friday by local agreement).
Responsibilities
* Ensure all printing tasks are carried out to high standards and that the standards are maintained.
* Operate and maintain production speeds on your shift and set times to targets, recording and reporting when targets are not met.
* Work constantly towards production improvements in methods, to eliminate potential quality problems and reduce downtime.
* Liaise with the production manager to achieve best possible machine utilisation with minimum wastage while ensuring excellent quality and on time delivery.
* Support colleagues as part of a team, sharing information.
* Follow all aspects of Quality Control and Quality Assurance in the Print Department, keeping accurate records.
* Maintain safe working systems to ensure personnel are kept free from injury and operations are safe and efficient.
* Promote collaborative working within the Print Department through good communication.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
* Ability to operate or quickly learn to operate various printing machines and related software.
* Ability to follow instructions.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Experience in Flexographic printing.
* Experience with SEDEX and ETI requirements (not essential).
* Strong teamwork and communication skills.
