As they continue to grow, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to ensure high-quality project delivery, oversee technical teams, and maintain strict compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly organised and driven Electrical Contract Manager to lead and manage the day-to-day delivery of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of gas and electrical installation teams and ensuring full compliance with scheme and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate installations across multiple properties, ensuring compliance, quality, and timely delivery.
Lead and support teams of gas and electrical installers, providing clear direction and resolving on-site challenges.
Ensure full adherence to ECO 4, PAS 2035, TrustMark, and internal compliance standards.
Work closely with Retrofit Coordinators, Assessors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Conduct audits and quality assurance checks to maintain high standards across all installs.
Monitor project performance and productivity, reporting progress and KPIs to senior management.
Develop and maintain clear project documentation, including scheduling, compliance paperwork, and health & safety records.
Contribute to the development of best practices, policies, and internal processes to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements:
Proven experience managing teams, contracts and projects from start to finish.
Experience managing or coordinating technical field teams (gas, electrical, insulation).
Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work within compliance-heavy environments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
Full UK driving licence (preferred for occasional site visits).
Desirable Qualifications:
Technical certifications in gas or electrical installations (e.g. Gas Safe, NICEIC).
Retrofit Coordinator or Retrofit Assessor certification (beneficial).
Health & Safety training (e.g. SMSTS, IOSH, NEBOSH).
