As a Support Manager in a care home, you'll help lead front-of-house and care support operationsensuring a warm, professional environment for residents, families, and staff while upholding high standards of service, safety, and compliance.
What you'll be doing:
1. Supporting and coaching care assistants and front-of-house staff
2. Ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality, person-centred care services
3. Assisting with rota planning, shift coordination, and workload prioritisation
4. Welcoming and supporting residents, families, and visitors
5. Managing day-to-day communication, including handling the duty phone
6. Supporting with opening/closing procedures and ensuring the environment is safe and welcoming
7. Monitoring care supplies and equipment needs, raising issues proactively
8. Ensuring rooms and communal areas are prepared and maintained to high standards
