Job Description
Drive innovation in Syngenta's R&D asset and infrastructure by leading complex, engineering projects from concept to completion. As the new Global R&D Senior Engineering Project Manager you’ll be part of a dynamic team where you'll shape the future of sustainable agriculture through cutting-edge facility designs and equipment installations.
Key responsibilities:
* Full lifecycle ownership of large-scale R&D engineering projects across global sites
* Manage project budgets ranging from $5M to $20M
* Develop comprehensive project scope, design, execution and communication strategies
* Identify and secure the needed resources, building and leading a large project team and managing their performance through the life of the project
* Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
* Drive risk management and mitigation strategies
* Oversee project documentation and reporting
Qualifications
* Master’s degree in Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical preferred)
* Track record of delivering complex engineering projects with the exposure in R&D environment for the Agrochemical, Pharma, Chemical or process industry
* Experienced in delivering projects in multicultural environment & with global stakeholders
* PMP certification or equivalent
* Knowledge of agrochemical regulatory requirements
* Strong stakeholder management skills
* Excellent communication and leadership abilities
* German language skills are a plus
