Visual Merchandiser - Fashion, Home & Beauty - Cribbs Causeway
Join our team at M&S as a Visual Merchandiser in our Fashion, Home & Beauty section, where you\'ll champion our stylish products and influence the latest trends. We\'re seeking passionate individuals who take pride in their eye for fashion and want to delight our customers every day.
Your primary focus will be on creating remarkable visual displays that attract and engage customers, ensuring that our products are presented in the most eye-catching way. You\'ll also actively collaborate with the team to implement effective merchandising strategies.
Responsibilities
* Purpose: deliver a great shopping experience for customers, putting customers before task; champion new ways of working within stores through an open mindset and positive attitude; complete tasks and processes that deliver best-in-town standards; serve and sell across all channels brilliantly well; be the voice of our customer to help us continually improve.
* Dress and style mannequins to agreed standards each launch and throughout the season.
* Deliver seasonal window implementation.
* Maintain best-in-town standards through presentation standards, VM principles, availability and keeping the store clean and tidy.
* Collaborate with C&H colleagues to ensure correct POS implementation each season.
* Serve customers efficiently on the shop floor and at service points.
* Utilise digital tools and communication channels to do the job; share customer and colleague feedback to improve processes.
* Share knowledge with colleagues to support skill and confidence building; own learning and proactively access digital learning solutions.
* Know daily sales targets, priorities, promotions and selling opportunities; possess strong product knowledge to sell and recommend products and services.
* Proactively engage with customers to understand needs and make recommendations; understand store priorities and how to contribute.
* Complete tasks with pace and in line with SOPs; minimise cost and waste through good process practice; follow safe and legal working practices.

Technical Skills / Experience
* Comprehensive styling skills applicable to in-store visuals and windows.
* Strong knowledge of visual merchandising principles.
* Contributes to store sales and cost control; works across the store to get things done right first time within timescales.
* Knowledge of customer shopping channels; good product knowledge across the store; up-to-date knowledge of the commercial operation and basics.
* Good level of digital capability and use of digital tools and applications; understands customer needs and spots selling opportunities; adapts to change.
