Guardian Angel Senior Services is looking for a Caregiver to join our team.
The Caregiver is responsible for providing physical care and emotional support to clients who may be unable to care for themselves due to illness, injury, surgery, or disability.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate dignity, patience, compassion, and respect when caring for clients and their property, maintaining empathy at all times.
Responsibilities:
* Home assistance: Light housekeeping, errands, transportation, accompanying clients to appointments, and medication assistance.
* Personal care: Meal preparation, personal hygiene, toileting, bathing, feeding, grooming, and general living needs.
* Companionship: Providing conversation, stimulation, and emotional support.
* Household management: Cleaning, shopping, meal planning, and preparation.
* Emergency response: Reporting incidents and acting quickly in emergencies.
Qualifications:
* Own vehicle and valid driver's license; training available upon hire.
* Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
* Ability to adhere to health and safety standards.
* Respectful, compassionate, good time management, and excellent communication skills.
* Covid vaccination required; booster not necessary.
