Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for registered pharmacists to join the Pharmacotherapy teams working across Aberdeenshire.
Specialist Pharmacist Primary Care - Band 7 within Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership.
Opportunity available within the Marr cluster – Aboyne, Alford, Ballater, Banchory, Braemar, Huntly, Strathdon.
Responsibilities
* Work as part of a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to provide ongoing pharmacotherapy services.
* Promote quality, cost‑effective prescribing of medicines in line with local and national guidelines.
* Support GP practices and community hospitals, covering all aspects of medicines management.
Qualifications & Skills
* Registered pharmacist with experience in primary care, medicines management or audit (advantage).
* Good communication, interpersonal and time‑management skills.
* Independent prescriber training would be supported if not already achieved.
* Full driving licence essential.
* Experience of community or hospital pharmacy background preferred.
Working Arrangements
On‑site working in GP practices and / or remote working from an agreed base, including Inverurie as an option.
