Senior Distribution and Logistics Manager (FTC 12 Months)

Base Pay Range
Salary: £50,000-£55,000
Full Time: 40 Hours a week
Contract: Fixed Term Contract for 12 Months
Office Based: 5 days a week
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the logistics and distribution function, ensuring efficient, timely, and accurate product flow across all channels.
* Oversee warehouse operations, inventory management, and stock accuracy, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and reduce waste.
* Manage relationships with carriers, 3PL partners, and suppliers, negotiating rates and service levels to optimise performance and cost.
* Implement strategies that support scalability, operational resilience, and alignment with our sustainability commitments.
* Analyse data and performance metrics to drive improvements in service, cost efficiency, and supply chain responsiveness.
* Collaborate cross‑functionally with retail, e‑commerce, production, finance, and sustainability teams to forecast, plan, and support business growth.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory, quality, and safety standards across logistics and distribution operations.
* Lead business continuity for supply chain and distribution functions.
About You
* Significant experience in logistics, distribution, or supply‑chain leadership within a fast‑paced retail, FMCG, or hospitality environment.
* Proven track record of optimising operations, improving efficiencies, and implementing scalable systems.
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance cost, quality, and service priorities.
* Excellent leadership skills, capable of motivating teams through periods of change and growth.
* Highly analytical with strong problem‑solving abilities and proficiency in logistics systems and reporting tools.
* Passion for sustainability, conscious business practices, and continuous improvement.
