£30k - £40k Base + £18k - £25k Bonus (First year)
The Company
A highly entrepreneurial asset management company with a passion for impact investing, bringing retail investment funds to the Adviser / IFA market.
The Role
Generate inflows/income from the company’s retail investment products
Deliver performance against objectives set at start of each half-year period
Contact advisors (IFAs) within specified postcodes and/or firms to promote investment product range
Sell across the product range with reference to areas of strategic focus/importance as they arise throughout the year
Target new, existing and lapsed supporters for inflow growth in all areas of the product range as appropriate
Take ownership of specific relationships within the region. These will include, but need not be limited to, paraplanners, admin staff and/or specific advisors / firms within the region
Advisor contact should include, but not be limited to, telephone, email and WebEx activity
Help develop adviser technical understanding including generic, product specific and client focused information
Schedule meetings for the Senior BDM’s (targeting weekly face to face activity of 15+ meetings) and telephone/WebEx meetings for yourself
Update CRM system to reflect activity, pipeline and progress of relationships in the region
Work with Senior BDM to develop and execute a plan that will deliver above target inflows/income
Use available data to target advisers, accounts, products and/or areas of the business model as appropriate
Generate and manage pipeline, with a focus on conversion, and applications, with a focus on efficient allocation of investments
Make use of regional budget to create new opportunities and develop relationships through presentation, recognition and hospitality events
Make full use of marketing materials and other resources made available to you
Work with key strategic partners with a focus on distributors with whom the business has invested in a partner package or has strategic focus
Identify and develop large regional accounts
Take steps to maintain and improve own knowledge and skills (including professional qualifications) through a dynamic PDP that reflects areas of focus and improvement. Evidence progress and impact in these areas
Seek/create innovative solutions to develop region and proposition including new product/proposition proposals and opportunities
Take on ‘product champion’ responsibilities as directed
Positive Corporate Citizen – adding measurable value to all internal partnerships and teams as well as impacting positively in the wider business
Skills / Qualifications
Must have a minimum of 1 years sales experience within a corporate environment
No previous financial services experience is needed but would be beneficial
A track record of excellent sales performance
An entrepreneurial and innovative personality
Ambitious and driven with a desire to learn and succeed
Happy to complete industry qualifications within the first year (paid for a supported by the company)
