We're looking to employ a motivated enthusiastic Scaffolding HGV Driver to join our small but fast paced team.
About the Role:
The Scaffolding HGV driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transport of scaffolding materials between the yard and various construction sites. This role involves loading, securing and unloading scaffolding components, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the vehicle in good working condition. The ideal candidate will possess a valid HGV Licence and the ability to operate heavy goods lifting equipment on the vehicle as well as a strong commitment to safety, and excellent organisational skills. You will also be required to assist scaffolders on site and work in the yard when not driving.
Essential Experience/Qualifications:
* Valid HGV Class 2 licence
* Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
* Proven experience as a HGV Driver, preferably in the construction of scaffolding industry
* Strong commitment to safety and following procedures
* Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations in the UK
* Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks
* The ability to operate heavy goods lifting equipment on the vehicle.
