Job Description: Technical Support Officer - Mechanical
Location: Bridgend County Borough Council
Hours: 37 hours per week
Responsibilities
* Ensure that all reactive and planned maintenance works are delivered on time and to a cost and quality satisfactory to the client.
* Provide a wide-ranging mechanical service across the Councils property portfolio as part of the Corporate Landlord team, supporting strategic property management and hard/soft Facilities Management.
* Be enthusiastic about new and innovative decarbonisation approaches to schemes as the team develops new skills to help the Council reduce its carbon footprint.
Requirements & Expectations
* Valid driving licence is a requirement for this post.
* Standby duties and emergency response are a requirement of this post.
* The Councils Hybrid Working Policy applies to this post, providing a framework for undertaking working hours between home and the office.
