Overview

Care Leader Bank Care Leader

Location: Arundel

Pay rate: £15.34ph

Contracted hours: Zero hour contract, to cover annual leave and sickness


Responsibilities

* Support the Home Manager and lead a team of carers to deliver outstanding care to residents, while encouraging them to always do their best.
* Plan and implement the kind of care that gives residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence.
* Ensure care plans are regularly reviewed through continuous assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
* Manage your time between supporting your team effectively and ensuring the wellbeing of residents.

Qualifications

* You’ll have previous experience of working in a residential care setting with a NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care, or you’ve achieved NVQ Level 2, and you’re prepared to study for NVQ Level 3.
* You might have previous supervisory experience, like delegating tasks, supporting inductions for new starters and 1 to 1s, but this is not essential.
* You are a positive role model, with excellent communication skills and a natural ability to get along with others.
* You are a supportive individual, able to motivate others to deliver the best possible care to our residents at all times.
* You are confident taking charge and being able to use your own initiative to resolve problems and deal with queries.
