Overview
As a Senior Business Adviser in our Strategic Resource Solutions (SRS) team you will work closely with clients and support them in the timely delivery of accounting and consultancy services. You will act as a permanent member of the client’s finance team, analysing data, making recommendations, and discussing trading positions, legislative changes, and future outlook.
Responsibilities
* Work independently and be accountable for delivering projects to clients as if you were a permanent team member.
* Analyse client data, make recommendations, and communicate credible insights on trading positions and legislative changes.
* Collaborate with senior managers, directors, and BDO partners, providing opportunities to enhance delivery and introduce additional services.
* Identify and highlight opportunities for improving client delivery and expanding service offering.
Qualifications
* Industry‑or‑practice‑qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or equivalent experience.
* Solid accounting knowledge with experience in accounts preparation and outsourced accounting.
* Good knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
* Competent in Microsoft Office and standard in‑house packages.
* Proficient in accounting software and willing to learn new packages.
