Purpose of Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen at VINCI Facilities for a Security Officer to join our established security team based in Llandudno Junction.
This is a key role within a professional security team, providing a proactive, high-level, customer-focused security service at a prestigious client site.
Job Description
As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all staff, visitors, and contractors.
You will deliver effective detection and prevention activities, as well as respond to incidents and emergencies, ensuring the site’s security integrity is upheld at all times.
Flexibility and a proactive approach are essential, along with a strong commitment to delivering excellent service.
Responsibilities
Maintain the highest level of site security through proactive detection, prevention, and response activities:
1. Carry out internal and external patrols
2. Undertake gatehouse duties
3. Perform reception duties, including X-ray screening
4. Monitor CCTV systems
5. Operate control room systems and manage key control procedures
6. Respond effectively to incidents and emergencies in line with site procedures
7. Provide a strong, customer-focused security presence at all times
8. Support the Security Supervisory and Management team
9. Identify, report, and help mitigate security vulnerabilities
10. Demonstrate competence in the use of all security systems to maximise effectiveness
Essential Qualifications/Skills
11. Valid frontline SIA Licence DS or SG.
12. Valid frontline SIA CCTV Licence.
