This role is to support a 27-year-old Female with complex health needs.
Employment status: Employed
Hours per week:
Contracted to 20 hours per week Sunday 9am-3pm, Monday 9am-4pm & Tuesday 9am – 4pm, however your contract will be over a 7 day period which means your hours could change dependant on the needs of the patient.
You will also be offered the opportunity for overtime covering other staff members holidays and sick leave, as and when required.
Holidays- 5.6 weeks per year.
Hourly pay rate:
£12.71 per hour
Hi, we are looking to employ a female carer to help care for our 27 year old daughter’s daily needs. She loves her dolls, TV Characters such as Tweenies, Zingzillas & Wiggles.. She loves going to McDonalds for a mcflurry ice cream or going to the shops for her CBeebies comic. The post is based in a family home which she shares with her Mum & Dad, pet cockapoo Pip and Teddy the cat. We would like to find the right person for our daughter
Duties include:
- Personal Care & Hygiene
- Showering
- Toileting
- Dressing & Undressing
- Preparation of breakfast, Dinner and drinks.
- Providing support for when going out
- Providing Support at Hospital Appointments
- General activities i.e Games colouring in etc
- We may from time to time, require you to carry out other duties either on a temporary or permanent basis regarding our daughters needs.
At no time will we ask you to administer any medication.
Candidate qualities:
-Must be female
-Must have previous experience, this is essential.
- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
- Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
- Hygienic, tidy and well organised
- Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
- Patient & Calm and possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Honest and reliable
- Able to speak and read English to a very good standard
- Able to always work to high standards of health & safety as on Immunotherapy treatment.
- Someone kind, cheerful with a good sense of humour who can be very flexible and a team player
Additional requirements
Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours

Please note, if you are successful in your application for this position, you will be employed by the individual as an employee. The role is employed, and you will be entitled to holiday pay and issued an employment contract. But there will be scope for you to work additional hours as and when needed.
