Summary
Works in cooperation with nursing staff and under the direction of the emergency physicians providing timely, efficient and effective acute care of patients utilizing a team model. Performs care including assessments, treatments and medication administration to emergency department patients utilizing skills based on the National Scope of Practice for Paramedics.
Minimum Education
* HS Diploma or equivalent.
* Completion of accredited paramedic education program.
Minimum Work Experience
* 3 years as a pre-hospital care provider required, experience as a Critical Care Paramedic preferred.
* Experience with immobilization and stabilization procedures a plus.
Required Licenses/Certifications
* NREMT registration.
* Current Vermont State EMS certification/licensure.
* BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
* Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
* Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)

Pay Range
$24.16 - $35.19
