Job Description
In this role, you will support indirect procurement activities by managing supplier relationships, supporting sourcing initiatives, and ensuring cost‑effective purchasing of services and equipment. Acting as a key link between local stakeholders and central procurement teams, you will help drive alignment, efficiency, and continuous improvement. What You’ll Do
* Act as a key point of contact between local stakeholders, the UK & Ireland and the Business Unit Procurement teams
* Support sourcing activities for indirect spend categories, including services, maintenance, and packaging
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across supply chain, production, and maintenance teams
* Support negotiations with suppliers, with the opportunity to develop negotiation skills over time
* Create and maintain contracts and purchase agreements within internal systems
* Prepare and analyse monthly cost reports and support global reporting requirements
* Monitor supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives
* Support resolution of invoice queries and collaborate with finance and suppliers
* Contribute to improving procurement processes and ensuring data accuracy
Who We’re Looking For
* Approximately 1–2 years of experience in procurement or buying, ideally supported by a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
* Comfortable working with data and systems, with intermediate Excel skills
* Experience with ERP systems is an advantage; Power BI exposure is a plus
* Key soft skills include strong communication and stakeholder management, strong attention to detail and analytical mindset, organization, reliability, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Proactive, self‑motivated, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
* Interest in developing a career within procurement
Location & Details
* Location: Ashbourne, UK (hybrid working model)
* Contract: Permanent, full‑time
