As a Print Production Assistant, you will be an essential part of our client's printing operations, reporting directly to the Shift Manager. Your hands-on role will be crucial in ensuring high-quality output and a smooth production flow. You'll be responsible for maintaining strict adherence to health and safety standards while working alongside a fantastic team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the operation of printing machinery to ensure optimal performance.
* Efficiently load and off-load reels to keep production flowing smoothly.
* Maintain high standards of quality and housekeeping throughout the production area.
* Handle and control hazardous liquids, inks, and solvents safely and responsibly.
* Support the team in achieving production targets to drive success.
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a must.
* Strong communication skills to foster a collaborative team atmosphere.
* A proactive and flexible team player who can adapt to changing demands.
* Willingness to work a rotating shift pattern, including 2 x 12-hour days, 2 x 12-hour nights, and enjoy 5 days off in a 4-week cycle.
