Teach Now is seeking a compassionate, experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive 1-form entry primary school in Hackney. This is a rewarding opportunity to work 1:1 with a Key Stage 1 student diagnosed with ASD and ADHD, supporting their educational and social development from the very start of the new year.

Your Role
• As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Provide consistent 1:1 support to a KS1 pupil with ASD/ADHD.
• Implement strategies tailored to individual learning needs.
• Work closely with the SENCO, class teacher, and external professionals.
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Create a nurturing environment where the child can flourish academically and socially.
Requirements
• SEN experience is essential, particularly with ASD.
• Experience supporting children in KS1 or KS2.
• Relevant qualifications (CACHE/NVQ) preferred but not essential.
• A caring, patient and resilient approach.
