We are looking for self-employed (or NHSP-registered) Clinician Associate Trainers — such as learning disability nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists, and speech and language therapists — with direct experience in providing therapeutic support to adults with a learning disability. The role will involve designing and delivering transformational training across the health and social care sector on the topic of learning disability, based at our site in Denmark Hill, London. Training commissions will be offered on a sessional basis.

Key responsibilities
· Design and deliver training courses as and when required on topics relating to the care and support of adults with a learning disability.
· Use specialist knowledge to develop and deliver engaging and interactive learning programmes (face-to-face and online) and supporting materials to learners from a range of skills and confidence levels
· Ensure that learning programmes are underpinned by theoretical knowledge, are practice-focussed, evidence-based and kept up to date with clinical advances and research.
· Excellent administration and organisational skills to autonomously develop training materials, organise own work schedule and complete required quality assurance paperwork.
· Work with experts by experience in the design and delivery of learning content.
· Communicate effectively in training environments and with the Estia team.
· Supports the Estia Centre to achieve its vision and demonstrate its mission and values.
Person Specification
· Professional qualification in a healthcare related subject
· Learning and development/training/teaching qualification
· Substantial clinical experience in working with adults with a learning disability.
· Experience in designing developing and delivering adults training courses or other adult learning opportunities (face-to-face, and online).
· Skilled, confident communicator and able to develop strong, trusting multidisciplinary relationships.
· Be proficient in the use of MS Office and other digital technologies.
· Be able to deliver training at our location in Denmark Hill, London.
