Legal Secretary - Private Client Location: Cranleigh Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Salary: £28,000-£30,000 Join a highly reputable law firm in Surrey as a Legal Secretary within the Private Client Department. This role is based in our Cranleigh office and offers a dynamic work environment where you will support a Senior Associate and the broader team. Day-to-day of the role: Provide full secretarial support including audio typing for the timely production of various documents such as letters, attendance notes, briefs, and bills. Manage diaries and ensure efficient scheduling and organisation. Maintain comprehensive and highly accurate client administrative files, both physical and electronic. Liaise with clients and third parties by telephone or in person, ensuring the delivery of exceptional client service. Take the lead on tasks to best support the department and team, demonstrating initiative and strong organisational skills. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally with at least 3 years in a similar role. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient in audio transcription with fast and accurate typing abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Highly organised, able to prioritise workload effectively. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Friendly and professional attitude. IT literacy, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Digital Audio software.
