We are delighted to offer this Food Production Supervisor role at our Woodlands Site in little Hulton.
Responsibilities
* Ensure that set standards, procedures, and processes to produce high‑quality food are adhered to and comply with all internal and external food production regulations and legislation.
* Supervise and support members of the team.
* Liaise with members of the Food Services Departments Management team to provide a comprehensive customer journey for service users, staff and visitors.
* Monitor and maintain consistent food standards and quality across all areas and during all stages of production.
* Ensure that quality control measures and hygiene systems are achieved at all times.
* Prepare, cook and present inpatient feeding and retail food offerings in line with expected departmental standards.
* Present and serve all food in line with Trust standards, using innovation in method, presentation and food service.
* Participate in the HACCP procedure in accordance with the Trust Food Safety Policy, creating and maintaining correct use of records, including cleaning rota and closing down procedures.
* Have accountability for the day‑to‑day running of the kitchen service.
* Actively participate in the ongoing management and development of menus, in line with Trust guidance.
* Actively discuss ideas with the customer and obtain constructive feedback.
* Monitor stock control, ensuring that stock rotation and use‑by dates for the production of food are followed and food is not wasted.
* Be responsible for collection of deliveries to site, undertaking quality assurance and ensuring all goods received are accounted for.
