Accounts Assistant Role at a Global Business in Newbury
Sheridan Maine is partnering with a global company based in Newbury, seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance team.
Reporting to: Finance Manager
Primary duties include:
1. Checking payments and allocating to accounts
2. Handling invoice and payment queries
3. Monitoring aged debt and performing credit control activities
4. Reconciliation of accounts
5. Producing management reports
6. Setting up new customers on the accounting system
7. Assessing customer account limits and conducting credit checks
This role offers a great opportunity for candidates with finance experience, particularly in accounts receivable or credit control, or those seeking a company that provides training and study support for AAT.
The ideal candidate will be hardworking, reliable, a team player, and enthusiastic. Strong Excel skills are essential.
