ABOUT THE ROLE
The Role – What You’ll Do:
As an Estimator, you will play a key role in developing competitive, accurate, and commercially sound estimates for a variety of construction and refurbishment projects. You will work closely with directors, surveyors, and project managers from pre-construction through to tender submission.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyse drawings, specifications, and scope documents to produce detailed cost estimates
2. Prepare and present accurate tender submissions
3. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain best-value pricing
4. Identify cost risks and opportunities across a diverse portfolio of projects
5. Support the business development and pre-construction process with strategic input
REQUIREMENTS
6. Proven experience as an Estimator in construction or refurbishment contracting
7. Knowledge of public sector frameworks and private sector tendering
8. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
9. Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
10. Confident communicator and team player
11. Proficient in estimating software (e.g., ConQuest, Causeway, or similar)
