Key Responsibilities – SEN Teaching Assistant
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support for students with ASD, SEMH, PMLD, and complex needs.
* Assist with communication and sensory-based learning.
* Support students with personal care (e.g., toileting, feeding, mobility) as required.
* Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored learning programs.
* Contribute to creating a calm, safe and stimulating classroom environment.
Ideal Candidate – SEN Teaching Assistant
* Has previous experience working in an SEN school or specialist provision.
* Confident supporting students with challenging behaviour, non-verbal communication, or medical needs.
* Open to and experienced in delivering personal care.
* Calm, nurturing, and adaptable with a team-player mindset.
* Holds a DBS on the update service or is willing to apply for one.
