A well-established business based in between York and Thirsk is currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join their friendly and supportive finance team on a permanent basis. On offer is a salary of up to £29,000 plus a company benefits package.
As a Finance Assistant, you will be:
Processing and managing the purchase ledger
Raising and issuing invoices on the sales ledger
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries
Assisting with month-end tasks and reporting
Supporting with general finance admin duties
Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to ensure smooth processesTo be successful in this Finance Assistant role, you will ideally have:
Experience in both purchase and sales ledger
Good knowledge of accounting systems and Excel
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
A positive, team-player attitude and willingness to learn
Previous experience in a similar finance roleThis fantastic opportunity is easily commutable from Malton, Kirkbymoorside, Helmsley, York, Thirk, Easingwold, Pickering and surrounding areas. The office has on-site parking and due to the remote location, you will need to drive and have access to your own transport.
