About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive with proven experience in sales and business development, ideally within the healthcare sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business growth by generating new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
This role requires at least 1 year of experience in a similar healthcare business development role, with the ability to engage confidently with local councils, ICBs, and case management companies.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, research, and outreach to local councils, ICBs, and case management companies.
* Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met with tailored solutions.
* Sales Target Achievement: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, including negotiating contracts, closing deals, and successfully converting leads into clients.
* Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and local care preferences to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
* Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of business strategies aimed at enhancing revenue growth and identifying new opportunities.
* Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure business goals are aligned and a cohesive approach to client engagement is maintained.
* Presentations & Communication: Confidently present business services and solutions to potential clients in meetings and formal presentations.
Skills & Experience Required
* Minimum 1 year experience in a business development or sales role within the healthcare sector.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
* Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
* Strong negotiation skills with experience closing contracts/deals.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to assess market data and trends.
* Confident networker with the ability to develop and maintain professional connections.
* Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
