An exciting opportunity has arisen for anOperations Managerto join the current team. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, energetic and have a willingness to learn and develop new skills that will equip them for a successful career within the business.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Manage all aspects of Branch operations including the Sawmill, Treatment Tank and training of staff
* Coordinating and helping with deliveries, customer collections and daily duties
* Managing health and safety on a daily basis whilst ensuring a high standard of housekeeping
* Monitoring and maintaining stock levels in the yard

Skills & Experience:
* Experience in timber, building, construction or home improvement desirable but not essential.
* Management experience in any industry is essential and will be considered.
* Stock control/management - Goods inward/outward experience in any industry.
* For candidates not from a related industry you must have demonstrated experience and ability to adjust to a new industry, learn products and get up to speed efficiently.
* Customer/client engagement skills and experience essential.
