We are seeking a keen individual to join our team as a Pig Stockperson on our newly established outdoor breeding unit in the Hunstanton area of Norfolk. Key Responsibilities
* Managing the team on farm daily.
* Being responsible for accurate farm record keeping and reporting these to the office and Regional Farms Manager routinely.
* Working with our pigs to ensure their health and wellbeing needs are met, including feeding, moving, serving and handling the pigs.
* Working to high standards of animal welfare.
* Maintaining the condition and appearance of the farm, creating a welcoming and safe environment for both animals and visitors.
Qualifications
* Operate and maintain modern farm machinery.
* Multiple years experience managing an outdoor pig breeding unit.
* Have an indepth knowledge of the pig production cycle.
* Strong people management skills.
* Ability to prioritise and complete tasks fully with strong attention to detail is a must.
* Focused on animal welfare.
* Self-motivated, possess a strong work ethic, and strive to go above and beyond expectations.
* Full driving licence is required.
