This role will play a central part in supporting the delivery of
The FA's National Game Strategy
and the
Lincolnshire FA's own strategy
, working in partnership with clubs, coaches, and communities across the county.

We are looking for an
enthusiastic, people-focused individual
with a passion for developing others, and the ability to design and deliver impactful coach development programmes. The successful candidate will help strengthen collaboration across clubs, coaches, and volunteers, ensuring that grassroots football continues to thrive across Lincolnshire.

The Role

* Position:
Coach Development Manager
* Contract:
Fixed Term until 30th June 2028 (subject to FA funding)
* Hours:
17–21 hours per week (part-time, flexible working available)
* Salary:
£30,435 – £33,058 (pro rata, dependent on agreed hours)
* Reports to:
Head of Partnerships & Engagement
* Direct Reports:
Casual Coach Developers
* Location:
Lincolnshire FA Office, with hybrid working options

Evening and weekend work will be required to deliver elements of the coaching programme.

Key Responsibilities

The Coach Development Manager will:

* Develop and manage positive relationships with
2-star and 3-star England Football Accredited clubs
.
* Engage clubs with the
Thriving Community Clubs Framework
, supporting them with assessments for the Coaching pillar.
* Coordinate and deliver a
County-wide Coach Development Programme
for coaches at all levels.
* Manage, support, and deploy a team of
Casual Coach Developers
, ensuring diversity and representation across the county.
* Deliver CPD, mentoring, and support as a
licensed Coach Developer
.
* Support clubs with the creation of club-specific
Coach Development Plans
.
* Build partnerships with clubs, volunteers, FA staff, and other key stakeholders.
* Promote positive behaviour in youth football and contribute to
FA national campaigns
.
* Play an active role in supporting
safeguarding, inclusion, and equality
within Lincolnshire grassroots football.

* Have knowledge and experience of
sports or football development
, particularly at grassroots level.
* Understand the unique role of
volunteers in football
.
* Possess strong
presentation, communication, and planning skills
.
* Can work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
* Are
computer literate
and confident using FA Technology systems.
* Demonstrate outstanding
customer service
.
* Are team players with the ability to lead, inspire, and develop others.
