Overview
McCarthy Stone is the leading UK's retirement living provider. We are looking for a House Manager to lead the Norton Court estate in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire. This role focuses on exceptional customer service for our retired residents, helping ensure they live in a safe and pleasant environment, and supporting them to organise community events and activities. Hours: 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, year round. Salary: £17,908.61 ACTUAL plus benefits and bonus.

Responsibilities
* Welcoming new Homeowners and supporting them to settle into their apartments.
* Providing a professional front-of-house service and dealing with all visitors in a friendly manner.
* Being the first point of contact for all Homeowners and offering help, support and advice as necessary.
* Collaborating with partners and suppliers to ensure the smooth running of the estate.
* Being the "face" of McCarthy Stone for the families and friends of Homeowners.
* Handling Homeowners issues with sensitivity and maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
* Managing the development’s gardens and grounds to provide a safe, secure, well-maintained and pleasant environment.
* Facilitating social interaction and helping Homeowners to enjoy retirement living to the full.
* Ensuring all Health and Safety requirements are adhered to.
Qualifications and Attributes
* Excellent communication skills with a real can-do attitude.
* Experience in a professional, customer-service oriented position.
* A professional approach with high-quality standards.
* Ability to thrive in a busy, varied role where every day is different.
* Resilience and effective problem-solving abilities.
* Awareness of basic Health and Safety is advantageous.
* Good computer literacy including Microsoft Word and Outlook.
* First aid qualifications are advantageous; candidates will receive training on commencement of the role.
Development and training: As part of McCarthy Stone Management Service, you will receive training and support to help you meet your career goals, including courses such as basic first aid, working safely in the workspace, and Dementia Friends training.
