We have an exciting opportunity for an Academy Analyst to work within our Elite Academy. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with an undergraduate degree in Performance Analysis or a related field, who has a high level of tactical understanding and knowledge of football.
Academy Analyst Responsibilities:
•Support with filming of all home academy fixtures, training sessions, presentations, and CPD events, in line with governing body criteria.
•Build and maintain working relationships with other Clubs to ensure sharing of match footage.
•Code relevant filmed fixtures, in line with the academy identity.
•Support with managing our video performance databases and upkeep of Hudl platform administration.
•Provide regular video-based feedback to our squads and individual players.
Experience, Qualifications & Requirements:
•Undergraduate degree in Performance Analysis, Sports Science or any other related discipline.
•Postgraduate Degree, or actively working towards, in Performance Analysis, Sports Science or any other related discipline (Desirable).
•Prior experience as an Analyst within a football academy setting (Desirable).
•Full and clean UK driving licence (Desirable).
•Legal Right to Work in the UK.
•Able to commit to working mid-week evenings and weekends, depending on the Academy schedule.
Skills & Abilities:
•Proficiency in the use of Hudl Sportscode, iMovie and keynote.
•Confident using Hudl Cameras (Desirable).
•Knowledge and understanding of football.
•Build strong working relationships with coaches and players.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Passion for football and developing players.
•Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
