Telford & Wrekin Council presents an opportunity for an individual passionate about supporting people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Tenancy Sustainment Officers work face‑to‑face with customers, in an office setting, and spend time working from home.
Experience in a similar role is desired but not essential. Full training will be provided.
Responsibilities
* Provide support to clients to ensure they maintain their tenancy and prevent homelessness.
* Work with tenants and landlords to sustain the tenancy by offering advice on budgeting, tenancy agreements, and linking with other support services.
* Deliver lifestyle skills support and reassurance to landlords, encouraging more landlords to house clients who are rough sleeping or at risk of becoming homeless.
We have two posts available, one of which will focus specifically on people who are rough sleeping or at risk of doing so.
Qualifications
* Experience in a similar role is desired but not mandatory.
* Posts working with children or vulnerable groups will be subject to an appropriate criminal records check.
* No sponsorship licence for visas; visa sponsorship not available.
