Catering to pupils aged 4 to 19 diagnosed on the autism spectrum, the school offers specialised instruction. 7. Ideal candidates will be flexible, resilient, and have a positive approach to supporting learners with SEN
8. Relevant experience/knowledge of UK SEN settings (desirable)
9. Own transport due to the school's location
10. GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
11. Eligibility to work in the UK
Your responsibilities in this role will include:
12. Conducting individualised teaching sessions with assigned pupils on a daily basis
13. Collecting and recording data on delivered programs as instructed by the Class Leader or Lead Tutor
14. Participating in and helping instruct pupils during extra-curricular activities
15. Supervising indoor/outdoor playtime and lunch on a rota basis
16. Contributing to the production, organisation, and maintenance of appropriate curricular and teaching materials
17. Providing personal care when required (e.g., toileting, nappy changing, and feeding) for pupils within the school
18. Working as part of a classroom team to provide behaviour based instruction to children with autism and related communication disorders
