Job Description: Senior Support Worker
The National Autistic Society is dedicated to transforming lives, challenging perceptions, and building a society that works for autistic people. We support individuals in understanding their diagnosis and its impact, providing residential and supported living services for autistic adults.
We are seeking passionate Senior Support Workers to join our teams. The ideal candidates will be resilient, supportive, and sensitive to the needs of autistic individuals, with experience in management or shift leading within social care. Leadership skills, patience, and commitment are essential. The role requires flexibility to meet the needs of the people supported, including evening and weekend work.
This full-time position offers 37 hours per week with a salary of £22,972.56 annually. Responsibilities include:
1. Helping individuals achieve independence and personal goals
2. Supporting and transporting individuals to integrate into their community
3. Developing home-making skills and personal chores
4. Transforming lives and achieving results for autistic adults
A valid driving license (minimum one year) is preferred.
