About the Role
We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and caring Unqualified Nursery Assistants to work in a range of welcoming and supportive nurseries across Croydon and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about working with children and looking to start a career in early years education. No qualifications are required — just a positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine love for helping children learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities
As an Unqualified Nursery Assistant, you will:
1. Support qualified staff in caring for children aged 0–5 years
2. Assist with play activities, meal times, and personal care routines
3. Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
4. Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
5. Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements
6. No formal childcare qualification required
7. 6 months minimum experience working with children
8. A genuine passion for working with young children
9. Reliable, friendly, and a good communicator
10. Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (we can assist with this)
