We are seeking talented Freelance Translators specializing in English to Chinese (Simplified) post-editing, translation, based outside of China. Responsibilities
* Translate diverse source materials from English into Chinese (Simplified) accurately and appropriately.
* Ensure translations are culturally relevant, clear, and align with client specifications.
* Maintain consistency in terminology and style throughout translation projects.
* Collaborate with project managers and reviewers to meet deadlines and quality standards.
* Review and proofread translated content to ensure high quality deliverables.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field preferred.
* Native proficiency in Chinese (Simplified) with excellent command of English.
* Must be located outside of China.
* Proven professional experience in post-editing, translation preferably in a freelance capacity.
* Strong understanding of cultural nuances and localization practices.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Familiarity with translation tools (e.g., SDL Trados Studio) is an advantage.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
