Warehouse SupervisorLocation: Aston Clinton, HP22 5WJReporting to: Warehouse Team ManagerSalary: £29,000About the RoleWe are looking for a proactive and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to oversee shift operations and ensure efficiency, accuracy, and excellent customer service across all warehouse activities.This is a key leadership role where you will lead, motivate, and support a team of operatives, acting as the first point of contact for operational issues. Youll play an important role in maintaining a safe, productive environment while driving continuous improvement and supporting business growth.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & PerformanceOversee daily warehouse operations to maximise efficiency using the WMSMonitor productivity and ensure alignment with operational targetsPlan workflows, staffing levels, space utilisation, and equipment layoutPick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately in line with quality standardsCoordinate safe loading and unloading of vehiclesMaintain stock accuracy through effective receiving and picking processesSupport cycle counts, stock takes, stock transfers, and consolidationProvide clear and accurate end-of-shift handoversLeadership & Team DevelopmentLead, coach, and motivate team members to achieve performance targetsTrain staff to resolve day-to-day operational challengesInduct new and temporary employees effectivelyDeliver KPI-based feedback and performance reviewsSupport investigations and disciplinary processes (including note-taking)Manage staffing levels, absence, and leave requests in line with policyContinuous Improvement & SystemsAct as a super user of the WMS to drive operational efficiencyIdentify inefficiencies and implement improvementsCollaborate with Team Managers to analyse performance and enhance productivityHealth, Safety & CompliancePromote and enforce health and safety standards and legal complianceConduct pre-shift checks and walk and talk handoversEnsure MHE checks are completed before useMonitor equipment usage and ensure MHE is charged and maintainedSecure the warehouse at the end of each shiftCommunication & CollaborationLiaise with account managers and admin teams to resolve issues efficientlyWork collaboratively with other supervisors and managersMaintain high housekeeping standards across the warehouseAdditional DutiesCarry out any other reasonable duties as requiredSkills, Knowledge & ExperienceEssentialProven experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leadership roleStrong understanding of warehouse operations and proceduresExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsConfident managing performance and delivering direct feedbackStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesContinuous improvement mindsetGood knowledge of warehouse health and safety regulationsProficient in Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)QualificationsValid MHE licences (Aisle Master, Counterbalance, PPT)Experience managing MHE fleet and users (preferred)TPBN1_UKTJ
